The first step in our process is scheduling either an in-person consultation or a phone call where we'll learn about you and your story. We'll share more about us and answer any questions you may have. It's incredibly important to us that we connect with our couples to ensure that we're the perfect fit for them. Out of all your vendors, your photographer and videographer will be spending the most time with you on your wedding day. You'll want a team that feels like a pair of great friends who will have fun and make you feel comfortable.
If after your consultation you feel that we're the perfect team for you and your beautiful wedding day, we'll first give you tons of virtual hugs to show how grateful we are for this opportunity, and then we'll send you a contract and invoice that can be signed for and paid online. This will ensure that your date is reserved and we will not book any other sessions or events on your date. A 25% deposit and signed contract is due at the time of booking.
The next step is to schedule your fun engagement session. This session is a great opportunity for us to get to know each other better and it allows us to see how you interact in front of our cameras. After we've set a date and you've chosen a location, we'll send you our guide that will help you prepare for your session as best as possible. It includes suggestions on what to wear, what season to shoot in, what time of day we recommend the session take place at, including your pet, and lots more!
So that all of your wedding vendors are on the same page, we'll create a timeline for everyone to follow on your wedding day. You'll know when to tell your florist to arrive, when to tell your hair and make-up team to be finished by, what time to be dressed by, when to have your immediate family show up for portraits, etc. In the meantime, you can read more about the different types of wedding day timelines here.
Throughout the months leading up to your wedding day, we'll check in to see what other planning you've accomplished and to see if you need help finding other wedding vendors. We'll share our favorite DJ's, florists, bakeries, hair stylists, make-up artists, invitation designers, officiants, coordinators, and caterers. A month prior to your wedding, we'll plan to get together over dinner and drinks to give us another opportunity to hang out and get excited for the most happiest day of your lives.
On your wedding day we'll show up and get to work, but not without hugging you first. You better believe that we're just as excited as you are! Typically we'll arrive to your venue and scout out the location and set up any equipment needed. Then we'll begin capturing you and your groom and your bridal party getting ready. We'll be with you from the very beginning all the way until the very end when you're running to your forever through two long lines of sparklers.
1-2 days after your wedding day we'll be sure to share a preview of your photos and/or wedding film on Facebook and Instagram. We'll be busy editing the days away, and you can expect to receive your full wedding gallery 4-8 weeks after your wedding. You can expect to receive your wedding films 3 months after your wedding. Once your gallery has been delivered, we'll begin working on your album design (if your collection includes an album). Once the design is ready, we'll send it to you to preview and make changes.
After your wedding is over and you have received your photos, your films, and your album, we want you to always know that we will forever be great friends. We will also be around to photograph your growing family and all the wonderful memories you wish to preserve.
Lauren and Matt went to Alvernia University in Reading, PA and met during their freshman year. It was during their sophomore year that they went to a party with a bunch of friends and walked home together. At one point that night Matt sneakily wrote his phone number out in toothpicks on Lauren’s table. And the rest is history!

While the exact amount varies from wedding to wedding (dependent on wedding size, length, and number of photographers booked), we typically average anywhere from 75-100 images per hour of coverage.
Yes and yes! The images are delivered in an online gallery where you can view, share, and download the high-resolution photos. This gallery is live for 1 year following your wedding. You may order prints through us, or wherever else you choose. There is nothing that makes us happier than seeing our clients sharing and enjoying their images with their loved ones!
Yes, we love to travel! Travel fees are applied to any wedding outside of a 60 mile radius from our home in Mechanicsburg, PA. Fees vary depending on location, so please inquire for additional details!
We do whatever possible in order to achieve a great collaboration. We plan, prepare, and discuss your wedding day to ensure we stay out of each other’s frames. We also keep open communication throughout your day. Teamwork makes the dream work!
Yes! While we would love to work every wedding together, we know that won't happen, and we're totally okay with it! Please feel no pressure in booking one over the other. (We do make a pretty amazing team, though. We're just sayin'!)
We love music and the way that it can be used to emotively describe film. In the end we select the music for one main reason: licensing requirements. However, this doesn’t mean we just pick any old track. We do our absolute best to make sure that each track speaks to the emotions of the day and to our couple.
We are! Please let us know if your venue or coordinator would like to be added onto our Certificate of Insurance, and we'll send over a copy to them via email.
